Parking lots near the vicinity of NRG Park are available for Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo ™ visitors to utilize. Opens daily at 6 a.m. Opens daily at 9 a.m. Weekdays: 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Hours of Operation: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The safety of everyone is paramount for Rodeo patrons to enjoy a fun atmosphere. Please note that all personal belongings (such as purses , camera cases, back packs, strollers, etc.) are subject to search at any given time on the Rodeo grounds by Show officials and/or law enforcement officers for security reasons.
When a clear bag policy is in effect, backpacks , purses, and diaper bags are not permitted. Each fan may carry one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 12” by x 6” x 12” or a one -gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
Park at Fannin South, located at Fannin and West Bellfort for $20 per vehicle (includes parking and round-trip rail passes for all passengers). Ride from other stations for $1.25 each way.
Demand for Houston Rodeo parking passes is strong every year, particularly as some fans have turned to parking to avoid the long lines for Uber/Lyft at the end of the evening. There are over two dozen parking lots around NRG that you can pre- purchase a parking pass .

Today, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced its plans for the 2021 Rodeo . Originally scheduled for March 2 – 21, RODEOHOUSTON® competitions, concerts and entertainment, carnival and other attractions and activities are now scheduled for May 4 – 23, 2021 , pending COVID-19 health status.
It’s all about the ‘cue! Purchase tickets for entrance into NRG Park for the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, which kicks off the arrival of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo ™ each year.
If you ‘re feeding picky eaters, you can bring your own food and drinks onto the grounds. The only place you cannot take outside food and drinks is into NRG Stadium for the Rodeo and concerts.
Weekday rodeos start at 6:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 8:45 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 6 p.m.
Each ticket holder, including children, will be able to carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse . Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag , but diaper bags are not permitted. 2021 could be a huge year for space.
